1941 TA 3-Wheel H-D Knuckleheads
2026 Perkiomen National Meet

The theme for the Perkiomen National Meet this past April was “The 1940’s”. We chose to feature the War Years and were fortunate to highlight motorcycles from that era.

The Perkiomen Chapter was honored at our show to have two of the only eight 3-wheeled 1941 Harley-Davidson TA Knuckleheads that are known to still exist. Knowing that small vehicles were going to be needed, Harley Davidson developed these bikes that could carry soldiers and their gear.  Unfortunately for H-D, Jeep won the government contract after only 18 TA’s were built.

A very special thank you to Matt Walksler of Wheels Through Time M/C Museum in Maggie Valley, NC and to Rick Allen and Ed Rich from the American Classic M/C Museum in Asheboro, NC for traveling to Oley to display these two bikes.
