July will be a busy time for AMCA Meets and Road Runs, with three National events scheduled during the month.
The July schedule kicks off with a National Road Run July 19-21 in the scenic mountains of British Columbia. This ride, hosted by the Northern Rockies Chapter, will be based in the town of Kaslo, on the shores of Kootenay Lake in southern British Columbia. For information, go to www.northernrockiesamca.org.
That’s followed by the 30th anniversary edition of the huge Wauseon National Meet, July 20-22 at the Fulton County Fairgrounds in Wauseon, Ohio. This meet, jointly hosted by the Maumee Valley, Lake Erie, River Valley and Ohio Valley Chapters, features more than 500 vendors, plus a full slate of activities, including vintage racing on the fairgrounds’ half-mile dirt track. You can find more information at www.wauseonnationalmeet.org.
July wraps up with the return of the Yankee Chapter National Meet, July 27-29 at the Hebron Lions Club Fairgrounds in Hebron, Connecticut. This historic meet has been off the National schedule for the past several years, but returns to its traditional spot for 2012. To find out more, go to www.yankeechapter.org.
