on 1956 panhead cam cover at the rear just below the top screw there is a oil ?pasage drilledhole
there apears to be a plug of some type
mine is leaking what can i do to repair

You could try drilling out the old plug to a standard pop rivet dimension and rivet it closed using a stainless or aluminum rivet as a replacement plug. Lightly coat the rivet with JB Weld before riveting. Be sure to coat the rivet shank also. Another option would be to pipe tap it and pipe plug it. Paps
