I'm looking at a 59' Panhead frame and looking for any info that can help me identify if it is a Harley frame or reproduction, Casting numbers or other identifiers that would or should be there.
Thanks

47591-35 left side dash mount
DIF31 or DIF32 right side dash mount
Top motor mount has date code 8F to 9F for 59
Perfect.. Thank you!
What about MM59 on the upper motor mount?
That would be unusual, post a photo.
Having trouble getting a picture since he is 3.5 hours away from me. His pictures are blurry, I may get to see the frame this week, if so I will post.
sieber60, for 1959 model H-D Pan steering heads at least two forging numbers were used. One was 47591-35 as mentioned above. The other was XE-35F.
For a 1959 model steering head at least four die numbers could apply. Mentioned above are 31 and 32. The other two possibilities are 29 and 30.
Lower left rear forging should have 47653-58 which was used for 1958 thru about mid-1970.
Lower R-H rear forging should have 47651-58 which was used for 1958–early-1973.
Both upper rear forgings had a certain forging number for 1958–64 but it was done in at least two ways: 476 45 58 and 47645-58. Notice the spacing. Notice the first version had no hyphen. For a 59 model frame I imagine the first style would apply.
There are also other things to check so I look forward to the photos.

Here are some pictures, unfortunately my camera is cheap so the numbers are hard to make out.
The MM59 was apparently a different frame. He had another frame that looked like the upper motor mount had been altered.
