I would replace the rubber-tipped floatvalve while you're at it.
Although yours is the somewhat better Starklight offering.
(Unfortunately, Gary's float ain't. Why is it the same shape and size, and weight, as a made-in-India brass boatanchor?)
When you inspected your idle bleeds, did the plug have a "tit" on it?
(Not that we know why...)
