    Default Ft. Sutter meet

Got home Sunday night after a day of flying all over the western US. The wife and I had a great time meeting new folks, and yakking it up with old pals. The Ft Sutter people put on a great show, and go out of their way to be friendly.

Usually when I go I am relatively cash poor and see lots of great stuff. This trip I was flush with cash but found little I actually needed. I did buy a few things. NOS WWII timer cap, Mid '30's RL steering damper lever, '36-'41 lower horn mount, 1958 FL parts book, and a couple other small items. My great find came from George Hood. He had Eddie Ryan's Factory embossed binder filled with late teens and early '20's Service Department Bulletins. Other letters from The MoCo and detailed information on stroking a JDCA, ETC.

sprglde, I believe you might be the gentleman I talked to who had driven the trouble truck on the Catskill road run next year when I was there.. I'm glad you came out and enjoyed our effort. I'm also glad you found the part you needed.

a friend bought a 37wld there & we ended up making a trade for another bike & i ended up with it.

A great time as always and the weather cooperated magnificently. Met a few new folks and said hey to a few more I enjoy seeing each year. Here's some shots from the meet, just in case you didn't get to make it in person.
