a friend of mine made a few of these points-covers (the ones which Kent Thompson had for sale) I can check what I still have left in parts for the 1934 battery ignition. One picture shows the correct timing cover for the 1933-35 battery igniton Chiefs.

that is the braker plate - it is either an early version or misses one part that stabilizes the plate agains the timing cover. Have the other or complete version too, but no pictures on hand at this time.

    gsottl,

Thank you very much for the pictures as this helps. If I could bother you for some measurements that would be great or you have anything for sale. If you do not I understand.

    Thanks Again

Hi Steve & people interested in these Chiefs!

attached more pictures of what I found in my garage.
I want to keep the one with the original cover, but the newly nickel plated breaker plate with the new cover and without the breaker can go. Will be at Oley next week. Please PM if interested.
The wider ring on the back looks like if it is just pressed on. Can easily be made ona lathe.

    Best wishes from Europe,
    gsottl

I will be at Kentīs spot every now and then, but am mostly running around to see what I can find. Kent can tell you who I am - Florian from Austria - only one on the field I guess :-) Would be good to meet you there Tom!
