The date code would be a good indication.

As Chris says, the date code is your first reference point. It is on the seat mounting casting, right side.

The 1957 frame will have the numeric digit first and the letter second. (example 7 D) The later frames such a a 1967 frame will appear as D 7. The 1957 frame could also have a 6 numeric digit followed by the letter. There are other characteristics, if you can post a picture of it would be best.

1959 XLCH
OK--Mine has 9A so that would be 1959. So next question--what is a fair price and is anyone interested. Looks to be in good condition.
Condition is everything, Is it an xl or xlch frame? Post pictures, it's the only way you'll get an accurate value.
1959 XLCH
What can you decide on this number? Thanks, Gary
