    Default 1947 distributor Cadmium plating

    The post that the cable hooks to adjust the timing on the distributor and nut on a 1947 were they Cadmium . The band that goes around the earlier distributor was it cadmium

    36 to 46 used a strap, I have seen cad and stainless straps.
    47 used side post, post is cad.

    I have seen NOS straps that were bare metal.

    All the 47 parts are cad

    I have seen NOS straps that were bare metal.
    Chris, any opinion by year ?
