    Default Knucklehead cylinder repair

    Best method (if possible)to restore a pair of knucklehead cylinders. Sleeve? Nikasil plating?

    Nikasil is not going to fix anything on that cylinder! Might be able to resleeve but you wold have to stop those cracks first. Jerry

    Paul, You didn't state whether they are 61" (raised fire ring lip topside) or 74'. They are 1940 and above five fin though. I have a nice pair of extra 61" five fin that have been resleeved years ago and just need a de-glazing ball hone run through them and a pair of 40 over pistons. I'll let them go for low bucks if you can use them. Rich
