    back on the tanks, soft soldered the gas tank up with an electric iron. the iron was a little on the big side but it was all we had. holds pressure and good enough!

    working on the front wheel hub, painted and zinc phosphate all the parts, now lace the wheel up!

    Ok, got the wheel back and i mounted the tire, the tires are the same for the front and back 450-18 with KH rims...

    Nothing like getting a wheel finished, putting on the tire, and then putting it on the chassis. Looking good!

    Hi GWW, i used 60/40 and a tinning paste flux and also ruby liquid flux, work well with an iron. i also just used KREEM in the tank to seal them all up. i have used the KREEM on a 45 HD tank 20 years ago and still looks good inside the tank!

    you'll probably find one like Al did. fwiw, Al is exploring feasibility of having new rods produced. i am on Al's list. i want a spare set just in case...
