    I agree. In the 1911 Isle of Man TT race, Indian were placed first second and third. The reason for this was that this was the first year that the race took in the Snaefell Mountain Course which included an eight-mile uphill climb. The reason Indian did so well was because they were using chain final drive and everyone else were using belts.

    You guys don't get it..HD did not go back to belt but continued to offer belt drivs for customers that wanted it

    I get it.

    The point I was making was that chains have always been better than belts particularly when things are wet and hilly.

    Everything says that the finish is in Carlsbad, but I'm seeing the final location as Temecula?

    I've really been enjoying Bill Wood's updates. Too bad that Dean got that one point penalty. It sure puts the Henderson team into a strong position. On those early machines every mile is an adventure.
