    Default VL Generator

    Is this the correct generator for a 33VL.

    Bob.
    This generator has very slight differences from what would have been fitted to a 33 It will certainly fit, work and look the part. The correct generator would not have the relief/dent in the side of the black field housing .The field screws should have a slight radius on top and the data tag should be nickel and black.

    That flat spot on the case was for clearance of the new design valve covers that came on the 1938 U models.
