Guess I better upgrade my request. My quest has to do with the reinforcement ribs. I’m trying to figure out whether the white set without the ribs is a repro or not. Have at it boys!

Stock UL tanks have those ribs. I am just not sure if all are supposed or when a change would have occurred.

Can you show a picture of the tops of the tanks side by side?

I thought they might have been XA tanks but they are not.

The white ones without the ribs look correct. The rear mounting stud on the ribbed set is too low for a UL frame, and the bottom front tab is too far forward. Hope this helps.

after doing research while shopping for tanks for my '37 UL i was told that the non-rib tanks are '37/early '38.
