Richard Morris has several of them, I have been lucky enough to go ridding with him when he was on Reading Standards several times. They are neat machines and his perform quite well, was ridding with him around Palos Verdes last weekend and he was on a 20 Big X. Also a neat machine, fun to ride beside :-) That X was one of the machines that got stolen and he got back!

I feel for you guys down there. I know bikes go missing all over but California has had more than it's share of thefts it seems.

Does someone know the relation enginenumbers/year of the Reading Standard?

I'm looking for parts like a rear hub and clutch/gear handles etc for a 1917. Any offers?

im lucky to have five ,Most need work ,,,,this original looks like part 1918 and 1919, Reading seemd to use up their stock. Mine are 1918 1919 1920 1921 1922 .Im guessing they made around 1000 a year. I have lots of R S parts to trade 1918-23.. Let me know ,,,,Mike motorheadmike1@verizon.net
