Clutch question

Can you use a 41 and later clutch in place of the earlier big twin unit? Thanks, Bob L

Sure you can, but you need the '41 outer primary as well, it wont fit in the early one.

Bob You can use the earlier cover if you shorten up the clutch. If you ride easy just take one clutch and one steel plate out. Sometimes on the ultra thin plates you only have to shorten the studs a tad.
