    Default Part 54535-67 Identification

    Good morning All,

I picked up two shock assemblies (p/n 54535-67) and have searched all my parts catalogs and the web to no avail with their identification. I wanted to throw this out there, ask if anyone knows this part and can provide a little intell.

I have attached a few photos for reference.

They look identical to the shocks in my '54-'78 XLH parts catalog (pg. 128, lower right). Yes, the shock with no part number identifier! Each shock is 13" center-to-center and an overall length of 14-5/16" long.

    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks,

Those are replacement shock units from a Sportster with the "high road clearance" package. They are in the '71 catalog. High road clearance bikes had 1" more clearance than the standard version. There are long forks as well!

    Thank you Robbie,
I wondered when I saw the low road clearance assemblies in my catalog!
