    time as a member obviously is not the criteria for junior to senior member, can anyone tell me what is?

    I believe it kicks over automatically at 100 posts. Though you can also set your identifier yourself... because no amount of time endows you with the titles "General Nuisance" "Curmudgeon" or "Vigilis".
