crystal draino to remove paint

I was reading and old post by flat happy about useing crystal draino to remove paint from an oil tank. I was woundering how much draino do you mix to make it work ? Is it like a paste or liquied ? would like to do that on my oil tank.

er... there are paint remover products on the market that are outstanding.

Try Martin Senour Aircraft Stripper, available from NAPA. I believe it is number 6258 or something close to that. Outstanding stuff, available in gallons or quarts. Works so well, I am surprised they haven't banned it yet. Water soluble. Very, very powerful.

Why screw around with some drain cleaner concoction when you can get the right stuff at any NAPA.
