249 Scout carb rebuilders?

Hey folks, anyone know of a L&L small Vertical Twin Scout carb rebuilder? Yes, I know they were kinda crappy from the get go, but I'm restoring a low number 1949 Scout and want it correct, not with the Amal retro fit. Thanks for any help. I will consider a N.O.S. one. Have cash or a bunch of Vertical parts to trade. Brian.

There's a guy who advertises in Walneck's who bought a pile from near here, been asking the seller who he was. He's trying to be the vertical parts guru, sounds like. Stay posted, we'll find 'im.
