741 speedo

Just wondering I have a 1941 741...is the speedo supposed to have a light in it ? mine does not......Does not address it in my manual ?

I'd a thought someone could answer this for ya Kevin, I am inclined to say it was not lighted.

Sorry Pete it is lighted as you might have seen at Branson this year. Got the speedo rebuilt by a great place in Howell Michigan called bobs speedmeter. (bobspeedometer.com) this family has been doing speedos since 1928. Great job looks and works like new! check'em out!
