    yes, by a lot.
    cherry 40 or 41-46 tanks can be found for 3500-5000
    cherry 36-39 tanks are 7000 to 12000

    btw: my 39el35xx has the seamed oil tank & vented tranny case.

    Iím having fun riding this bike. It sounds to me like itís best to just enjoy it the way it is.
