57 Sportster Paint Job

Does anyone know which color is laid down first in the two-tone birch-white and skyline blue paint job?

Moon Wolf, the top half of the tank is considered the "tank panel" in 1957, so your bike would be Skyline Blue with a Birch White tank panel. Now....I'm just going by what I know about other years, but the tank panel is usually laid down last. That's all the help I can offer right now.

Moon Wolf (Was that from a bad trip?). You would alway shoot the lighter color first so as the darker one woudn't bleed though. Bob L
