    As with a lot of mechanical items the common name is not what is listed in the book. Your reference to rocker blocks as bearings assures us of that. While politically correct the term bearing is confusing to old farts.

    Don't feel bad Chris, the other year when H-D switched to "parent material bearings" for their outboard cam supports. We had to see a motor torn down to figure out they meant they eliminated the bronze bushings and were now running the cams in holes bored in the aluminum plate.

    Can anyone tell me what is the Shop Dope # for this bulletin or have a pdf copy they can send or post? I read through my repop Antique Cycle Supply (Vol. III & IV) and H-D Shop Dope book (99410-93) and could find anything about the intake oilers. Thanks
