    Seriously awesome thread Barry! I would certainly be interested in reading the magazine story! I'm betting that little racer of yours will be a force to be reckoned with when ya get it tuned up! Very cool stuff!!!

    Wow, cool racer! I'd like to see and hear it make a couple of hot-laps! I've certainly heard of Putt over the years, but the article you posted makes it obvious that there was much more to him than I'd ever heard. I'd sure like to hear more about this remarkable guy, keep it comming.

    I have a few Putt Mossman items. A few flyers and a trophy awarded to Putt and Grace Conrad by the Charity Newsies Motorcycle Races, Columbus, OH 1947. I also have Graces locket with photos of her and Putt doing various stunts.

    This is the all alloy top end J.A.P that Barry refered to that was normaly fitted in a Cooper. It is 1100 CC and I have fitted it in a Norton Featherbed frame.

    WOW! Nice job there! That is one serious looking sickle. The matchbox floats look great and help keep the whole plot nice and narrow. Well done!
