    Default '66 Bonnie Fenders

I just bought a pretty nice, matching numbers '66 Bonnie. It's been repainted. It also has painted fenders. I thought that the '66 Bonnie only had stainless fenders. I actually prefer painted fenders, but want to make the bike right. So, did the '66 Bonnie have an option for painted fenders?

    Thanks.

    Snakoil,
I'll have to do a little more research to be sure but my '66 US market sales brochure lists SS fenders as a new '66 feature on the Bonnie. However, it lists painted steel on the T120TT! I'll check some more info tomorrow when I can get out to my shop.

    Home market had painted fenders.
    US had Stainless.
The T120C East Coast had painted fenders, West Coast version had polished alloy fenders.

This is a T120R. I spent some time on the web doing searches last night. Every '66 Bonnie I found had SS fenders. I know the TT had painted.

How are the current stainless repro fenders? I see Klempf's has them.

    Thanks,
