Default whatever happened to all the fun in the world?

Snow came early to PA and I was wasting some time online and ran across this, I thought everyone would enjoy it. Perhaps training for the Jack Pine?

Hey Brian ... thanks for the link ... I had been there before, but had lost the link. Those are some of the best vintage pics I've seen. The action is great, and the photographer was pretty good too.

Those are some cool photos and just the thought of pulling them outta those places in those conditions, you'd have to be a young buck yet. Merlin in Pa.

Those old time guys rode their bikes everywhere, including rough & tough cross-country stuff. When the Big Twin got too big, H-D invented Model K and Sportster for off-road use. Grandpa Deckert once said: "Sure we could have wrecked our bikes. But that was our sport. That was our life."

Today it's totally different. How loud your bike can be and how much chrome you can lard upon it. Them days if your bike was loud it was because the muffler got torn off in the woods or hitting rocks crossing a stream....
