    Default 1908 Thor Carb

Have you seen the Early 1908 Thor at www.batorinternational.com/
I have the exactly the same model and was looking for a carb for mine - I've spoken to Glenn at Bator Intl. who mentioned that the carb was made by Thor !!

Thor (The Aurora Company) also made engines for early Indian singles - so is it possible they used or copied the Hedstrom carb ?

Any help would be greatly received

Hey Steve, I'm not going to be much help, but there were Thor carbs on Thor machines. I don't have much more info than that. But it's a great question that I hope someone can answer. There are all too many gray areas still when it comes to early American motorcycle history. Good luck with your search for a carb. Do you have a different carb on the machine at present?

Here's an article on the web, if you haven't read it already....

I think the seller threw a bunch of names in there to get more hits. ...bill
