Never heard of anyone doing that or seen any evidence of it so I would say no. What are you restoring? I am working on a 64 XLCH currently.

    Dave,

I'm currently restoring three of my old bikes; 1964 XLCH, 1953 FLE, and 1947 FL.

Coker Tire make a 16 grasshopper, and they own the rights to it. I emailed them this week to see if they had a 18 or 19 inch, but have not heard back. Maybe if enough of us want to buy them, we can convince them to make some other sizes. I willing to try and set up a group buy.

They turn up on eBay every now and then. I have bought two 16" Grasshoppers from there.
