I laced up my 45 sole front rim, with correct rim and brake drum however it looks as though the outer spokes on the drum side look bowed, is this correct any help or ideas ????

Is it possible to post a photo of showing the spokes in the hub?
It sounds like you have a big twin wheel rim laced to a 45 front brake drum. The angle of the nipple holes is different on the 45 brake drum side of the rim.
