Any chance of a photo of this valve treatment?
Thanks, RF.
I had a blast! This was only my 2nd time to the WR facility, and the meet. The weather was perfect, and conditions ideal. I was tied to meetings most of the time, but I ventured out to Carlisle...
Please note; The Dudley Perkins HD Dealership is no longer in the City limits of San Francisco, but slightly south of the City, in South San Francisco, off of 101. (sorta close to the Airport).

Hey Mike,
Give me the particulars. I have a regular work schedule, and I am in the middle of moving. I-5 is over an hour away from SF on a Friday.
Hit me off line at; redfred47@gmail.com...
I have a very cherry Vard front end, complete with headlight mount, riser blocks, axle, etc.........I am looking for a comparable Indian unit to trade for. I will NOT sell my fork, only trade for...
Good eyes Cory!
It was a '14 Pope Twin, complete with carb & mag. Looks like it was set for stationary use at one time.

Every horn is different. I'd start out at .015 -.020", and adjust from there.

Me thinks Dr. Frazier is an Indian (native American) guy outta Colorado. He used to be on the Club Road Runs (DJ Run) on a Vincent. He also does the elephant ride up Pikes Peak on a Sport Scout. ...
I've had issues with the crotch of the female rod needing to be ground away for clearance. A critical area. But this situation happens towards BTC.

The front leaf spring is the only thing holding me up on this all original project. I have other year springs if need be to trade. Thanks

Tim,
Tom here (Cotten, of "Liberty") made me a float for my "up-side down" Marvel. Perhaps you have the only one in the UK?
RF.
I fully agree with Gene's response, however, I use NON-Detergent 30wt if the original clutch is still in use. I really like the modern Greer clutch. They can handle straight 50wt, and it doesn't...
I highly recommend Hagerty. Phone them up, and speak in person. Tell them you are with the AMCA.
Hagerty excels all others that I have ever dealt with, and handled a claim I had very well.

Thanks Marty,
Marty actually penned the article in my column.
Thanks again, RF.
I have been a huge & constant advocate for on-line support at the Judging Field. It all started when an entrant (and Judge) backed up his machine with all the factory literature & data to prove his...
Chief Judge Carl Olsen arranged and organized a Japanese Judging & learning seminar at the gorgeous new venue in Florida last month for the National AMCA Meet there. Carl is also an authority on...
100 pt bikes DO exist! But they are pretty rare with the American stuff from before the '60s. My first restoration was a '47 Chief that I managed 99 3/4 pts with. I was dinged by the slightly...
Nothing here in SF yet.
Phil,
So sorry to hear about Larry. He was the true charactor of the team out your way. I feel for ya.
RF.
I concure with Phil, especially on the cork seal. Install it dry, then do figure 8s on some flat mounted sand paper to shave the cork, so that it's just proud of the engine sproket. Then remove,...
Hey Bugzy & Phil,
Thanks to the Club, we can help each other, and support our passions. The more organized and 'together" our Club is, the better, especially in the up-coming policital battles...
Thanks so much for the reports. A shame Carl will miss his own Birthday Party at the Meet this year.
Thanks again, RF.
So true on the slop of the cluster gear end play, main shaft end play, counter shaft/cluster clearance & ALIGNMENT, and clutch basket end play, not to mention the .150" gap of the pressure plate...
Hey Buzy,
It's actually surpising how little oil is actually used in the primary/trans for the stock application. I forget the actual amount, but I alway check the level plug on the outter...
