I have the correct small box for '38, I previously had a large box sub frame(2nd picture). At a meet earlier this year I purchased a small box sub frame(kinda) the other one(1st pic...

I guess my wording of 'hands off' could have better. I didn't mean to express any physical contact of the bikes at the museum or anywhere should be allowed, just that the guards seemed a little...
Eric, I was there 2 years ago and the bikes are quite impressive. The building is beautiful and the resturant had good food. BUT, the museum has people standing guard over the bikes as you go thru....
I'm in the states and don't know about Canada, but I have a '69 FL with Progressive, liability only, it went up 2 years ago. I'm now paying $75/yr with higher than normal liability coverage. Bob
Steve, I agree with the above quote 100% If I remember right from his first ad, it was stuff in his family for a long time, so what if he joined just to sell his parts as you say? Isn't it better...

I'm confused with the tank shifter comment. I wanted to use '38 tanks with the correct length gate for a 41-46...
Quite the story Eric, pretty tough men and a columnist with a strong sense of humor! They laughed and decided to do it again the next year, how cool is that. Glad that was 88 years ago, not to be...
Thanks for posting the picture. Bob
Thanks, I'll see if he chimes in otherwise I will contact him.
Thanks, I'll call you this weekend. Bob
I bought a Servi-Car start about 12 years ago, and have acquired quite a few parts over the years. Life has now allowed me to start to assemble and work on this project, but I do need some parts and...
A little different from this morning, I guess you got an offer you couldn't refuse! Bob
Grand Ave makes more sense from the size of that factory in that last photo. It would have never fit on the Hanover St. I was on. I'm surprised I even found a Hanover St. HaHa!! Thanks for...
Well, being the lunatic that I am and only 30 minutes away I thought I would go and see what was left on Hanover St., Middletown OH. Not too exciting, just thought I would do it in case anyone else...
Where are you going to list them? If Ebay under what name? I assume these are the parts shown on Buzz's site. Thanks, Bob

One clutch gear is tapered at the end of the gear teeth and the other isn't. Does it matter as far as year difference, performance/application?

For the starter gears, is the one on...
Cory, Finally got through all four, thanks again for posting such great videos of interest. Bob AMCA #6738
Steve, Who knows what the quality will be, V-Twin #16-0122. You are most fortunate, I have no money or time and you get an hour more sleep than me. :D
Thanks Eric, you accomplish building alot...

Steve, With all the beautiful frame work you showed in another thread, and the equipment you have, why don't you just make an arbor? Pictures are of one I made. I made the center piece,...
Wyatt, I brought up my question in post #15 to see if these were the correct parts you were inquiring about. If you (or anyone else) can not find certain parts for your hubs contact me, I am already...

Ouch, you knew we were going to look. I realize the brgs are available in most suppliers for HD, just don't seem to common in the commercial market. I do believe Antique Cycle Supply went out of...
They might not be as common as they used to be. I went to Applied Brgs in Dayton OH, 2 months ago looking for the exact same thing. They could not help me. Bob
