Got my new copy of "The Classic Motor-Cycle" today and a nice cover shot and article on a couple of Crockers.

That was a good read, thanks for the link. Anyone know why Crocker never continued production after WWII?

Hey Jim,

It is my understanding that Crocker went in the hole on every V-Twin he sold. His machine shop essentially subsidized his motorcycle production. Crockers cost more than both the Harley and Indian of the era and the War was the end of bike production for him. The government would not allow precious materials to be released to him for his last remaining "nearly" finished machines and he scrapped what was left and called it a day.
