Looking for some info on a Linkert M6BA carb I have. Believe it is a Beck reman 1939 to 1942 bonneville. What is the history on these? Wonder if I should put it on my 48 chief.
Thanks Cube74

1939-1942 Chiefs (Bonne) M6BA 1¼" - I would think that it would work just fine, but I am still learning.
Cotten, would likely be a good source of info.

Folks,
I have encountered several M6SA Linkerts,
but never a BA.
(SA referred to the military fuel filter fittings.)
Beck never made carburetors.
I believe they were re-stamped for the aftermarket by L&L, based upon an L&L spec sheet for the M8SA.
Knotthead's second link above is fairly accurate.
The first is fraught with misinformation, and models that never existed.
Virtually any 1 1/4" model Linkert can be applied to a Chief, if if properly prepped, and Chief guts put into it.
