Very impressive! The Lewis archival photos are amazing, they obviously had a great photographer as well as skilled craftsmen. That water cooled Lewis outfit would be the bee's knees for such a hot climate. Nicely done.
What a great group of photographs. Thanks for sharing them with us. I just love to look at
these early original photos and bikes. I never knew Australia had such an early motorcycle
history. I wish some our American motorcycle manufactures had taken such detailed photos in pre-1910 years. Thanks again!

Those were some great links Steve! Thanks for posting them! :D

If you guys are really interested in Australian made motorcycles you need to get yourself a copy of Robert Saward's book "A-Z of Australian-Made Motorcycles 1893-1943"
It's a well researched, well written and very informative book that has something like 400 different makes listed.
It was printed in 1996 and the ISBN is 0 908031 64 5

I had no idea there were that many brands in Australia, much like our countries past. Are there any motorcycles still being made in Australia ?
