eBay seller TANKSHIFT just passed off one of COLONY's new $80.00 reproduction Knuck Boot Guards as a restored original at a price of $996.00. He listed it as a 1936 item when they were actually a 1938 item.

I gotta say.......I was kindof expecting that to happen with Colony's new part.

Good eye Chris.

This is what this forum is meant for.

Does this one seem less than totally honest.

You have to question the buyer too. Personally I don't feel too sorry for a guy that would spend 1K for a boot guard, even if it's the genuine article. However, a crook is a crook and ripping off the mentally impared is still a crime.
