But of course, there is another issue.

No oil pressure, the light stays on and it appears as though the oil is not circulating.

Now what?

What makes you think the oil is not circulating ? Did you prime the pump ? Are you using an oem oil sending unit or aftermarket one ? Paps

cold oil in the tank that looks like it was not circulating. The sending unit is probably after-market.

So I did some research and found that I need to open the caps on the pump and hand turn the motor until only oil comes out.

After that, figure out why the front end shakes like an eathquake and why getting it inot gear is so tricky.
