Direct lighting

Can one of you refresh my memory, please. In the late '50s I had a K model that I would occasionally run on the street. I used "direct lighting", as I ran a mag for ignition, and no batt.
Can you tell me how, exactly this was wired? I would like to run this setup again. Thanks

Here's a photo of shop dope 347. It shows one way to wire it up. I know in the 60's there was a different approach with the Bosch regulator ... Perry

Thanks for the info Perry eh ! Those service bulletins are worth thier weight in gold. This is JUST what I was looking for.
