Getting my Servi-Car Running Again...Maybe

Yesterday I rolled the old parts-job Servi-Car out of the shed. First time in several years I tried to get it running. Big mistake NOT draining the gas tank. Smelled like old varnish. Trike wouldn't start. Pulled gas line and no gas came out!

Pulled tank fitting and that was badly plugged with gunk. Interior of tank doesn't look too clean either. Better put an inline fuel filter on it. Not going to pull the carb yet hoping maybe it's okay.

At least I feel inspired to work on it out in the snow and cold....

Update:

Gas tank cleaned good enuf and carb bowl off and cleaned out. Should have put it back together today but didn't get to it.

Got like 5 more inches of snow today so when (if) I get it going riding is gonna be a blast!

I think Christmas Eve and New Years day says it all. As usual the first kick after priming her she started. What was it, a two month rest and we were both ready to go. I love my swervicar.
