palmers book states fle 55-65,i know i have seen other 53fle's,anybody help? thanks

I just looked in Palmer's book on page 601 and it lists an FLE for '53; "Traffic Combination" which I guess means a special cam and 1-1/8" carb venturi.

The back cover of Palmer's is wrong. FLEs were made '53-'56. I've been compiling a list of known errors in Palmers at:

Wow, nice job on the corrections and observations of Palmers book. I wish I had this kind of free time on my hands! The book is great as you said.

No mention of the 1960 to 1962 4 rib cam cover.
60 to 62 cover has the short 4th rib like the later "outside oiler" 63 - 64 cam cover but it does not have the internal oil line cast into it like the outside oiler cover.
