vride5;
The Rupert Ratio BSA unit-singles rebuild manual lists the following specifications for the 1965 B40. There are no special specificaions list for the Enduro Star model, so it appears that all B40 models used the same carb that season.
Make: Amal
Type: 376 / 280
Size: 1 & 1/16" bore
Main Jet: 190
Pilot Jet: 20
Throttle Valve: 376 / 3
Needle Position: 3
Needle Jet: 0.105
Hope this helps. You should consider picking up this manual if you are doing an engine rebuild on your B40. It's a very thorough manual written by the technical editor of the UK BSA Owners Club.
